Artist: James Herndon Singers Title: This Business of Living Label: Glori JC 1027 (1975)
Tracklist:
Herndon's second album for Glori from 1975 is in a similar vein as his previous one. As a previous member/pianist of the Caravans from 1959 to 1967, he had written several of their songs. All songs on "This Business of Living" are written and arranged by James Herndon. The album is a solid "seventies" gospel album with full instrumentation (organ, piano, guitar, bass and drums) throughout. Members of the James Herndon Singers are: James Herndon, Sandra Sullivan, Nathan Murphy and Paul Williams. All members take lead on at least one song. Paul Williams takes lead on "Precious Memories, James Herndon leads on "This Business of Living" and Sandra Sullivan sings lead on "That Must Be God".
In 1982 Nashboro released the album "How Good God Is". This LP has songs taken from "This Business of Living" and "Working on the Building".
