ONE-WAY
The One-Way label and its subsidiaries (Skyway, Starway, Black Giant and Reese) play a major part in the independent Chicago gospel scene of the 1970's. Not just by releasing more than 50 45's, but also by releasing more than 20 albums.

Owner Offe Reese was more than just an label owner and producer of excellent gospel music, he was also, for several years, member of the Kelly Brothers who were both successful in the gospel and in the soul area. And if that's not enough he was well up into the 21st Century a radio dj at a local radio station.
In 2006 the Numero Group released "V/A: Good God! A Gospel Funk Hymnal" containing several songs out of the One-Way catalogue.
The One-Way numbering system changed often during its existence. This makes it difficult to get a complete and chronological discography. All additions and corrections are highly appreciated.
