HLF
HLF is a small Chicago based gospel label. Hayes Farmer and his wife Lorice were the owners. Hayes Farmer produced all HLF 45s and albums. He was also a member of The Amazing Farmer Singers. All HLF recordings were done in the Odyssey Studios in Chicago.
The very odd numbering system used by HLF doesn't give any indication at all about the chronological order of the released 45s, there for we've decided to give you all the HLF releases we know about in alphabetical order. The years of operation for HLF are with a very broad margin between 1976 and 1985. Several of the HLF artists also recorded for the Cuca label.
All additions to the discography and/or information about the HLF artists is welcome and highly appreciated, because we are convinced that the discography isn't complete.
