GOSPEL ROOTS

Gospel Roots was the gospel subsidiary of Miami based TK Records. TK was owned by Henry Stone. TK and subsidiaries as Dash and Cat were important labels in the (early) years of disco music. Many of the Gospel Roots productions were produced by Ira Tucker, legendary lead singer of the Dixie Hummingbirds.
