FANTASTIC GOLDENAIRES

The Fantastic Goldenaires was organized in Rocky Mount, North Carolina in 1967. Later they moved to Richmond, Virginia. As with so many groups membership changed through the years. In 1980 they made their first album "A Gospel Celebration" after having a few 45s released on local labels as Bishop Dready Manning's Manning Big Sound, Pinewood and (their own?) Spiritual City. The two songs on the Spiritual City 45 were later re-recorded for their album "A Gospel Celebration". After years, if not decades, of relatively quiet they released "Holding On" in 2008.
