DEWEY YOUNG & FLYING CLOUDS
Dewey Young's professional gospel career started in 1953 when he joined the Swan Silvertones for 4 years. Around 1960 Dewey Young & the Flying Clouds made their recording debut on Revelation. In 1962 Dewey Young recorded as one of Rev. Julius Cheeks Four Knights. Dewey Young & The Flying Clouds made one album for Revelation which got re-issued by Sphere Sound. Other members, besides Dewey Young, of The Flying Clouds were: Charles Blair, Leroy Williams, Rafer Gordon, and Joe Moore. After The Flying Clouds Dewey Young made on 45 as Dewey Young & the Devine Travelers.
